"To leave no soul bound," reads the oath of the Chainrender.

Follow the adventures of T3ch_D0g and Shin Gentlepaw, two agents of a rebel group stealing and destroying diabolical contracts after Hell's invasion of the Material Plane.

Strife has taken over the lives of our two heroes as loved ones and strangers alike fall to the requirements of The Devil's Edict, a dark magical enchantment placed on their world forcing innocents to bind their souls to impossible requests, written in the blood of victims, in well-guarded contracts.

After years of this spell's effect, very few people know freedom, and those who manage to keep theirs suffer terrible consequences: now, T3ch_D0g's memory drive has been maliciously wiped of data, and his companion, Shin Gentlepaw, has been suffering from a wandering, foggy mind. At the same time, it's as if some sadness, of cause unknown, has taken root in Gentlepaw's heart, making the once jovial tiger a shell of his former self.

Perhaps the very lairs in which the contracts are kept also hold the secrets to our heroes' salvation.

How to play

Chainrenders is a turn-based movement puzzle game. Use the WASD keys to move, the Shift key to switch between characters and the Space key to select menu options.

Your goal is to retrieve a Diabolic Contract and take it to the Exit without any of the player characters dying or remaining in the level. You'll need to use Keys and Floor Buttons in order to open Doors in each level, but be careful: Doors opened by Floor Buttons will close back down when the Floor Button is no longer pressed, squishing whoever is standing in them!

On the way, you'll meet Stolen Souls, who guard the levels. Some of them are Heavy enough to activate Floor Buttons, some of them are Fast enough to move twice per turn, and some of them may pick up items! All of them will slay playable characters upon contact.

You'll control two characters, T3, who can move twice per turn; and Mr. Gentlepaw, who can activate Floor Buttons.
